I found out about Cruise Experts in 1995 from my very close friend, Wes Rowland (President and CEO of Cruise Experts). Wes and I go back to 1980 when he auditioned me to play trumpet along side with him for the Celebrant Singers. In 1999, Wes asked me to join him on a Princess cruise to the Mexican Riviera to experience first hand, as he was escorting a group. After that week's experience, my word to Wes was "When I decide to retire from Children's wear, a trusted cruise consultant would be an ideal career change for me".
Well, 2006 is my year and Wes had me move to California for eight months of intensive training, Cruise lines certifications and many ship inspections. I called it "Cruise Boot Camp". I was very blessed to be trained in my opinion by one of the best in the industry.
